Day Five – Florida Diary

Hello again! Day Five was all about the Alligators, my boyfriend still dying to see an alligator in Florida we decided to visit GatorLand!

Can't remember exactly how much it was to get in but I think it was around $40 for us both which isn't too bad. Today's weather was in our favour too it was scorching hot!

We got up really early had a quick breakfast and booked an uber for 9:30!

Entering the park was no Disney experience, two steps in and there is hundreds of baby alligators in little swamps and then HUGE alligators swimming around.

We had a look around the whole park first to get our bearings there was alligators, tortoise, panthers, birds and deers

Oh and goats which are now my favourite animal and I totally want one as a pet….

Staying on the trend of feeding animals we decided to feed the HUGE tortoise we worked out he weighed around 44 stone 😮. For $5 dollars we got a pear on a stick and fed 2 tortoise!

Hungry, hot and tired we called it a day and booked an uber which took up back to the hotel!

After chilling out for a little while it was still boiling so we heading to Blizzard Beach one of Disney's water parks. Have no pictures I'm afraid. We spent about an hour here until a HUGE storm hit and we were told not to go in the water! We headed for lunch in a QS restaurant in BB and I had pizza and Callum had a burger. After waiting around an hour the rain only got worse so we headed back to the hotel.

We then decided to hop into our pool for the next hour because what else can you do in the rain on holiday?

We showered got ready and headed off to animal kingdom for our reservation in Rainforest. I have no pictures of our food but it was DELICIOUS. I had chicken with cheese and pasta, Callum had fish and chips.

We then decided to watch animal kingdoms light show. Both of us were very disappointed with this, I think after seeing MKs fireworks it's a bit of a downgrade but it was a lovely night!

Then that was it for the day we went to sleep very early for a early start at universal tomorrow.

July Monthly Favourites

That's right I actually have some favourites this month! Happy Thursday hope you've all had a great July, other than suffering with the Florida blues I certainly have!

This month I have to admit I have bought a lot of new things from clothes, food to make up so this post may be a little varied but I'll get started.

Firstly I will start off with make up and Beauty favourites!

Eco Tools- over the past few months I have been trying out numerous Eco Tools brushes and I have to admit they are some of the best brushes I have ever tried. They are also very affordable too!

Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade- I am so late jumping on the bus with this product I know. However I cannot fault it, it is making my brows look 10x better than usual and really helping to get a definite shape!

The Body Shop Body Butter (vineyard peach)- I have been using this product before I apply my fake tan this month and I have honestly noticed a huge difference. My tan is going on my evenly and also lasting a lot long that it would without me using it!

Primark Pore Strips- that's right primark! These strips are absolutely amazing they are only £1 and definitely the best ones I have ever tried they are definitely worth trying out!

Pop bands- I had this recently in my Love Me Beauty box and I absolutely love it! It is a hair tie that doesn't leave a kink in your hair! Which works wonders for me as I have to sleep with my hair up. I totally recommend them!

Dove Deodorant- This is a weird one (I think), I have always been a sure girl. However this one was on offer so I grabbed it quick on my way to work one day and keep it in work for a refresh through the day. I can honestly say it is the freshest smelling deodorant I have ever used!

A bit of an odd beauty favourite I know, but I have been using these cotton pads from primark for about 3 months now and have got to say they are Fab!!! They're only 80p and they're the large ones so you can get more make up off with one!

For me nail varnish is a rare favourite just because I usually wear acrylics but totally amazed by Primark's Nail Varnish's. I work in retail so I am always using my hands the polish lasted a good 3 days without chipping!

Now it's time for my random favourites and there is quite a few this month!

Wilde Like Me by Louise Pentland- A YouTuber I have grow up watching! Recently Louise brought out a book and I am usually not one for YouTubers books but this one I just had to read! So glad I did too, it's on offer £5 in Tesco for the hard back and I read it in just under a week. Such a fantastic read and I am dying for the second one to come out!

Storage draws- I have a tiny room so best keep dreaming about fitting Alex draws in them to store my make up in. So opted for something to go under my dressing table out of the way but still look tidy to keep all my bits in! These have been a godsend they fit my make up pallets in all my skin care too! They are from Argos £19.99.

That's all for my monthly favourites this month let me know what you've been loving this month!

Day Four – Florida Diary

Hello it’s been a while since day three so I’m sorry if you’re following. Our fourth day was what my boyfriend was most looking forward to as a toy story fan! Today was the day we visit Holly Wood studios.

As you walk in you get that overwhelming feeling of “this isn’t real” the building are so tall and every detail is catered for a real life movie set!

Today was HOT and we only had one fast pass for Toy Story Mania as was advised that the lines are alway long! This wasn’t until around 12ish so we had a bit of time to kill so we wondered for a little.

Not being Star Wars fans we were sceptical of “star tours”. However this was definitely one of my favourite rides, in a nut shell it’s a simulator and you’re on a space ship and are battling the characters in star wars (sorry for the non Star Wars terms)!

Next we went on The Great American movie ride, which i thought was interesting Callum however could of slept through the whole thing (ops).

Fourth day in and we are yet to get the obligatory character pictures. So we queued to meet chip and dale, and then after Minnie and Mickey!

Then it was time for us to play Toy Story Mania, which was fab! Only thing was I pulled my bar down to far so was squished the whole game! Unfortunately they don’t take your picture which I am glad of due to the concentration on my face 😂.

With it being so hot we decided to call it a day at around 2 and headed back to the hotel for lunch and to chill by the pool!

By now it was around 4 and we were getting hungry and wanted something other than hotel food so we headed to Disney Springs for some food! We decided on Planet Hollywood I wanted a burger tonight and opted for a chicken burger!

Food finished and still ready to explore we headed off to Epcot to see what rides we could get on later on!

First ride was spaceship earth, literally walked onto this ride Callum hated it but I found it ok!

Next was Sorin! We loved this, don’t know if this was to do with the fact we had a group of girls next to us who didn’t stop screaming and we couldn’t help but laugh at them 😂.

We then went on the little Mexican boat ride inside Mexico (duh) which was cute!

Then we wondered into America and Callum couldn’t  help get himself a Turkey Leg! So got myself a slush!

My sweet tooth was then wanted everything in sight so settled for a Crepe in Paris. Can tell you from going to Paris, they don’t taste similar 🙁

All fueled up we decided to book a fast pass for test track, other than having mentally challenged people that couldn’t follow instructions of sharing the ride was great fun!

Always time to mess around with some display cars right?

That was our day over a very busy day at that we left Epcot around 9pm just as the fireworks were on just to miss the crowds at the bus stops!

Thanks again for reading, sorry it’s been a long one!

Huge Haul!

Hello! Sneaky mid week post as I have been shopping all day today I thought I would share what I bought!

First thing I picked up was from the make up section in primark, both sale too! 1 set of 5 brushes which were £7 that were down to £3 which is a steal for brushes! And secondly was a powder brush from their Troll collection which was only £1.

Can you really go into Primark without buying PJs? (Left) some pink heart PJ bottoms which were only £3! Second are a set of Bambi short and vest set which was £6, I love these sets from Primark! Lastly was a Bardot black top which was £4 and looks lovely on in any season!

Next place I visited was Jack Wills. (From left) I love these style bras so had to pick this one up for £8.95 as I already have the matching pant!! The other one was just too pretty to leave a bit dearer at £12.95. I also picked up some trainer socks up too for £9.07 as my socks seem to disappear in the wash!😂

Zara are in sale at the moment and if you love hunting through a heap of clothes then you’ll be in your element but for me I just haven’t got the patience to hunt for a top or two. So only found this one tshirt, which was full price at £12.99.

Recently my mum has moved house so I’m forever finding bits and bobs for my new room! This cushion was £8 in Debenhams and I thought it was so cute!

I haven’t been into Lush in ages! So I picked up a bath bomb and also one of their bath oils, as I’ve heard great things about the oils!

Back to the home wear I bought this set of 4 draws that fits perfectly under my dressing table for £19.99 from Argos!

Well that all I bought today! I will be uploading a room tour post on Sunday! And possibly a make up haul next week so click follow to stay updated!

Thanks for reading

Love Me Beauty – July Review

Hello, happy Sunday once again! Today’s blog post is going to be what I picked in the July Edit from Love Me Beauty click here if you have no idea what Love me beauty is!

I loved this months edit, seen a lot of hate over it but I was so obsessed this month as i love brushes, skin care and nails so it was a perfect month for me!

Yet again brushes, there is more to the box than brushes but I just can’t leave them there as it’s great value for just £12! I picked the Retractable Face brush which is perfect for traveling ladies! The brush it’s self is so soft, perfect size too, definitely recommend eco tools!

Oh look another brush, I have been desperate for a new foundation brush and this type is my favourite to use! I have used the brush and I can say it’s amazing especially with foundation! Loving and soft too does a great job at giving you an even finish.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about “dragon blood” masks and serums so this was a must this month. I have terrible bags under my eyes so I really hope this sorts them out! I am yet to use it, hopefully it does something for me, if it does expect a review.

I used to LOVE doing my own nails, I’ve recently gotten lazy and get them done every now and then. However it’s so expensive so I decided to pick up this Nails Inc polish they had around 4 colours to choose from but this was more me! It’s a gorgeous colour on the nail and dries quickly!

Again another product I have heard a lot of good things about is the nip and fab glycolic fox daily cleansing pads, so I shall keep you updated. Tried a nip and fab exfoliater but didn’t think much but hope these work for me!

Thank you so much for reading I am so close to 100 followers, so if you’re not following already then please click that button!

Beauty Bay Haul

Hello and happy Sunday, 3 posts in one week I am doing good eh? Finally my beauty bay order arrived and I am so excited to share with you what I bought. The total of the order was £49 that was with a Promo Code.  Mainly picked up things I have wanted to try for so long now, so I will get started

First up is the L.A. Girl Foundation, now I love their concealer so thats mainly the reason I couldn’t leave it also the price at the moment it is only £8.80 which is a total steal! Only down fall is the shade looks a little bit dark so I will have to get mixing I think. I will try and do a review of it when I have tried it out!

Next is a product I have been lusting over forever and thats the Gerard Cosmetics Slay The Day setting spray. They come in about 8 different scents and this is the mango one, I have never tried a setting spray before so I am hoping to be wow’ed by this one. I must mention it smells gorgeous!

Next product is one that I am so late jumping on the bus with I know, Its the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade. I love having ‘fleeked’ brows so I have high hopes for this product, I have heard that its hard to work with but I will give it ago. Got the colour Taupe hopefully its the right colour.

Last item that I picked up was the Zoeva Contour Spectrum pallet, this was a total impulse buy as my friend told me about it. The size of it is relatively big just a little smaller than a ABH glow palette, it comes with 4 pans 2 contours and 2 setting powders. I am very keen to test this out. I will be doing a review on this without a doubt as I haven’t seen much about it online.

Thank you so much for reading, let me know whats on your beauty bay wish list so I can add to mine!

Day Three – Florida Diaries

What’s that sun? Again I was awake 5am due to jet lag but let the adventures begin again! Headed off to breakfast around 9 again, Micky waffles it was for breakfast second day in a row ops!

Then hopped on the bus to Animal kingdom, I was so excited for this park as I love animals, started off by going around the park and looking at the animals which was fab. Followed by going on the Kilimanjaro safari which was amazing!

Got off the ride and refused to believe that it was rain I could feel, definitely off the trees right? WRONG. The heaviest rain I have even seen decided not to buy another poncho and shelter under the smallest shelter in the world.

Decided to fast pass the rapids until we sat down and decided we would get back off because we were DRENCHED. So again we headed back to the hotel and of course it then brightened up.

Didn’t want the rain to ruin our day, but didn’t want to chance another park so we hired a two seat bike and wondered around our complex which was huge!

Hit the showers and freshened up and decided to pop to Disney Springs and have some “proper” food. Ended up in planet Hollywood which is fantastic if you ever visit!

That was it again for that day I hope you’ve enjoyed reading took more pictures on this day so hope you enjoy them too.
